Sports car grin (song)
I know a boy, who owns more women than sense,
Their mothers too, sanity’s held in suspense.
This boy is no stranger to a comb or brush
Women return to their world with a school girl crush
He takes quarter an hour to sparkle his shoes
Old age waits patiently to show him the blues
The defender of style
Creator of fashion
He admits with a smile
Vanity’s a passion
T-shirts or suits
Trainers or boots
For him, he doesn’t (really) care
Its how you wear what you wear
His chequered green suit, verging on loud,
A left side-parting that would make Moses proud.
Says he’s the boy with the sports-car grin
Enticing his next conquest to take for a spin
Think he cares, if you don’t understand what he means?
Read between the words to see what he’s seen.
The defender of style
Creator of fashion
He admits with a smile
Vanity’s a passion
T-shirts or suits
Trainers or boots
For him, it doesn’t really matter
His style (is) pregnant with patter.
