Who ordered the unhappy meal?
If the laughter had echoed out I'd understand
Or if I'd threatened your freedom with reprimand
But you chose a three quid MacDonald's lunch
To knock-out our relationship with a sucker punch
Surely too early
Did opportunity disappear?
Surely too early
Suffocation or fear?
Was I the only one inside the ring in love?
When did you sneak that horseshoe in your glove?
So you've ended our fling as fast as you can
During our Last Supper of the common placed man
Surely too early
Does experience make you so wise?
Surely too early
From an actress in disguise?
Out the door, before questions formed in my head
A sickly numbness, kept them premature instead
My life's gone as flat as my oversized coke
"Have a nice day", what a tragic last joke.
