About a guy who I had the displeasure of seeing in the park. A person who rules their house, family and mind as a dictatorship. At least my meeting was brief, the poor wife. Is she a victim of circumstances, her upbringing or simply the weakness of her personality?

Are you trying to exonerate your actions internally?
You may judge, but can you pass sentence that way
The court of your mind would benefit (in my view substantially)
If your dictator of a brain considered the voice of democracy
Rather than self appointing yourself as king of the land
With your oscillating head, between the sky and the sand
Your self-made kingdom consists of home, mind and family
Overpowering them all, in your demanding militant way.
The home is just a consequence of the tolerant attitude of your wife
The family know no different, accepting an authoritarian way of life
Accepting your aggressive attitude and manipulative style
Stems from the way you rule your mind
Not questioning your reasoning, after a while
Instead believing in your dictatorship, completely blind
To the dangers of this brain, the result of an egomaniacs coronation
Delivering a government and royalty sharing one declaration
Your mind seems to self-manage but the CEO has been appointed
By later life and now adolescent dreams appear disjointed
Your conscious still demands a move towards a kibbutz
But the demons have more power and greed is in cahoots
The only hope you had to liberate your demise
To open your mind, to become someone you don't despise
Was to find someone who affected you enough in a particular way
To realise you cannot have a stratocratic state without an army
Someone who you loved or respected enough or would not be pushed around
This is the only way self analysis and spot shedding leopards can be found
Sadly, you have natural ability to lead you toward meritocracy
Allow the rest of your mind to finally have a say
Wake those morals and enter unexplored lobes and cells
Overcome limited education and the early lost cause smells
Either that or a major loss, is the only way to bring
Something that changes your safety zone of bullying
To allow you to take time to consider this unhappy reign
You are inflicting on loved ones and your tortured brain
As it is clear you must consider a dramatic change of policy
Otherwise, you are rapidly heading towards internal anarchy.
