Killing time my punishment for a love crime
Watching lovers rolling, laughing, laying foundations of pain.
Stalking? Envious of grass stains you’d find, yet never complain.
Just killing time.
Yes, it does drag, with nothing else to appeal,
Pleading for the start of its supposed power to heal.
Killing time
I hear once in a while time will apparently tell?
For now the corridors of hours only echo of hell.
Killing time
Wandering, aimlessly, seeing out the day; making no attempt to pretend
The journey has a purpose, unable to avoid the fact that it kills me in the end.
Killing time
Supposedly there is no way to convince it to hurry,
Guess there's no hip-hip to join hooray today.
Still killing time,
Regretting my crime.
As time slowly kills me
An inevitable killing spree
A destructive path
And I don’t even get the last laugh.
I killed time you see
But in revenge, time killed me.
